The First Step to Have a Fitness Lifestyle
The REAL first step is to TAKE ACTION. Everybody ask me what they should eat to lose weight,gain muscle or feel better; I say there are lots of things you can do to change your nutrition, some of them are this:
1. Eat five to six times a day.
This is a hard one for most people because just like me, you don’t have much time to eat during the day. What you should do is PLAN and prepare YOUR MEALS the DAY BEFORE or the week before.
2. Limit your consumption of sugars and processed foods.
In other words “cut artificially sweetened products with a high value of sugar and carbohydrates”. These will make you hungrier and will slow your metabolism.
3. Eat fruits and vegetables throughout the day.
I don’t have to waste your time with this because you know it.
4. Drink more water and cut out calorie-containing beverages (beer, soda, etc.).
Water increases your metabolism and clean your body from toxins that prevent you from losing weight.
5. Focus on consuming lean proteins throughout the day.
Proteins are powerful because they increase your metabolism and prevent you from losing muscle
6. Save carbohydrate containing foods until after a workout or for breakfast.
Research have proved that when you eat carbs in the morning or after a workout, your body doesn’t store it as fat. I won’t go in the science details of this but I will present some research in later postings.
Remember the most important thing is to start doing it today. TAKE ACTION NOW
